Pics are Up!

I removed the old scraproom pictures and put the new and complete ones up. The only thing I still need to do in there is to label all of my drawers. I also need to get a new work chair, the one I have now really bother my back. It is great to go in there, shut the door, put on a netflix movie and scrap in peace! It's also great to know where everything is!

Irene

I know, it has been a long time since my last post. A lot going since my last post. I have had a few cakes to make and was just asked to make one by Sept 2. My daughter was busy with dance classes, her recital was great, she was awesome! Helped the kids with Pine Cars. Visited my nephews in New York. Summer dance classes and bowling. Lots of fun with the kids. Got a new dog. She has been here for 4 days now and is already another perfect addition to our family. Still working on my scrap room. Just when I think I am close to being finished I decide to rearrange a few things. I really need to stop doing that, it's taking me forever. Another thing taking me forever in my room is deciding on my center table. Do I want white or do I want pink? Decisions...decisions! I am also trying to sew some doll bedding for my daughters' American Girl doll. I have no clue how to sew really, but I am going to try my hardest.

Watching the news right now...getting ready for Hurricane Irene. We should get it by tomorrow night or Sunday. I pray for everyones safety along the East Coast. They are now saying tornado warnings along with the hurricane. Ugh...hopefully not for us. We had a tornado back in June and another small one a few weeks ago I think? We were lucky/blessed and our town just got heavy rain and wind, the towns around us got hit bad. It is sad to see the damage it caused on our ride every week to the grocery store. I feel bad those who were hit bad by the first tornado then had to deal with a second one and now a hurricane. My thoughts and prayers really go out to everyone to help them all get through the rest of this summer and all this crazy weather.

Cakes

   Along with my love of scrapbooking, obsession with scrapbooking.....I also enjoy cake decorating. I have also added a tab for my cakes. I just received an order for 2 cakes for the month of May. Once I am finished those cakes then I will add pictures to the cake tab. I still need to add LO pictures to my Gallery tab. So, the 2 cakes I need to do are a retirement cake for next Friday and a confirmation cake for the 22nd. I have an idea already for the confirmation cake, just need an idea now for the retirement cake.
  Surprisingly, we have not gotten all of the rain that we were supposed to get. My poor flowers :( Oh well, I am still getting work done in my room - that's all that matters. The weather has been so beautiful out, may have take the kiddos and camera outside soon. I think it's time for bikes, bubbles, and chalk!  Can't wait to get some great pics of the kids on their new bikes. Big difference from last year.

Rainy Week.....???

Well, we are finally supposed to get some nice weather this week. Wahooo! Unfortunately, it is supposed to rain almost all week. So, I should be able to finish organizing my room this week, and get a lot of schooling done with the kids also. I have my flowers, buttons, brads, ribbon, books and cartridges put away. Tomorrow I will work on punches, stamps and not really sure what else yet. Paper will get put away last, still need to get counter-tops. Still need to hang curtains and some magnet boards too. Slowly seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

Almost Finished!

I am almost finished redoing my scraproom. I cannot wait until I am done! Slowly putting my supplies away, not really sure where to put everything yet. Once that is all done, then I can get my counter tops, then table, then chairs. Will post pics later. Only pictures of my room are on my cell phone. I am really looking forward to getting my mojo back!
